Today first hour took by Joju sir. English optional started their seminar presentation on the topic 'Current Practices in Assessment and Evaluation'.

Second hour took by Maya ma'am. Ma'am taught us about the history of Indian education during British period. 

Third hour took by Deepthi Ma'am. Today we continued our reading and reflection. First presentation took by Revathy chechi on the book 'The Joy of x' written by Steven Strogatz. Second took by Sajin on the book 'The Number Devil' written by Hans Magnus Enzensberger. 

After the presentation ma'am took our remaining topic 'Blog'.

Today first was taken by Ancy Ma'am. Natural science optional continued their discussion report presentation on the topic Kothari Commission.

Second hour took by Giby Ma'am. Ma'am taught us about Nature, factors, types of learning, learning curve, Types of learning curve, Causes and remedies for Plateau.

From the definition itself we can find the nature of learning. 

Learning: Relatively permanent progressive desirable change in behaviour resulting from experience.

Learning curve: 

It is a pictorial representation which shows how learning take place in a particular period. 

Types of learning curve:

• Straight Line curve - A uniform rate of progress in learning
• Positively accelerated learning curve - If the rate of progress is very slow at the beginning, then it increases
• Negatively accelerated learning curve - If the rate of progress is very high at the beginning, then slows down gradually

Learning Plateau

Plateau - It represents a period in learning process when no improvement occurs, even with any number of plateau.

Causes of Plateau -

• Distraction
• Lack of interest
• Health issues
• Lack of previous knowledge
• Lack of motivation etc.

Remedies of Plateau -

• Adopt maxims of teaching
• Make class lively
• Use effective teaching techniques
• Stress management
• Positive reinforcement etc.

Third hour took by George sir. Sir taught us about Tournament.
