⛅Day 01 0️⃣1️⃣ - Inaugural ceremony

Inaugural ceremony started at 10:30am by the arrival of one of the chief guests Sri. N. K Sunilkumar, assistant professor at MG College. Uthara Suresh from English optional was the anchor of inaugural session. 

The session were started with a prayer sung by Parvathy Thampi from NS optional.

After the prayer song, Megha A S and Megha S Nair from English Optional performed a beautiful prayer dance.

Then our Community Living Camp Euphoria promotion video were presented on projector.

After that welcome speech were given by Ancy teacher.

Then presidential address were given by our beloved principal Dr. K. Y Benedict sir.

Main points in sir's speech:

• Havighurst's Learning to live together, which is one of the pillere of education.

• Objectives of community living camp

• Sir compared camp with Metamorphosis process 

Then felicitation speech were given by our Nisarga union chairman Subinjit J. V.

Then we moved on to the inaugural session of the camp. Dr. Sir N K Sunilkumar delivered a beautiful speech and inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp.

Main points in sir's speech:

• First sir shared his memories in ten day community camp at his educational time.
• Then sir said, we can divide our life in two ways according to covid pandemic situation. One is after covid and other is before covid.
• After covid mainly new words came to exist such as Webinar, Home quarantine, Online learning etc.
• According to Sukumar Azhikode "the teacher should be a person who know the knowledge with something about everything and everything about something".
• The three things a teacher should need:

                * Competencies

                * Training 

                * Experience

• In today's world, a student should be a techno savvy: knowing a lot about modern technology, especially computers.
• Also sir shares the importance of reading newspaper.
• According to recent statistics, the number of alcoholist decrease but the number of drug uses increase, then what is education now?
• The word Sukumar Azhikode always says, "after all I am a teacher".

Lighting ceremony

Then a remarkable speech were given by Prem Kumar sir (film actor). He recalled and shared his memories about teachers Valiyamma teacher, Ashokan sir and many others. 

He shared that Valiyamma teacher helped him to change his mark from 95 to 100 in first standard 

due to the fear of parents.

Also sir shared about the story of Oman Sultan and Shankar Dayal Sharma. 

"Knowledge is secondary, Feeling is primary".

The remaining or balance in students after education is the result of education.

Then a video presented as the memory of K P C Lalitha. As in memory of K P C Lalitha the three group named by the film acted by Lalitha chechi.

After that felicitational message were given by Fr. Thomas Kaiyalikal and Dr. Joju Jhon sir. Both shared their memories with their teachers.

Benedict Sir and Fr. Thomas Kayalal presented gifts to  Sunilkumar sir and Premkumar sir as a token of our love and happiness.

At last the vote of thanks were given by Nikhil D Pillai.
