Day 5 - Ending of 5 day camp

Today's day started with the news reading of Group 3: Amaram. They quoted all the small & main things that happened yesterday.

After the news reading we moved onto the general hall 2 because of the women's cell programme conducted by first year women's cell.

The last session of our community living camp taken by Manoj G, social science teacher at Govt. School, Venjaramoodu. He is the former student of our college in Social Science optional. So he well familiar with our college, teachers and facilities. Welcome speech given by Anooja from English.

At the introduction part of our session, sir recalled and shared his experience in their community living camp with us. Then he showed ppt written as Welcome.

Then sir discussed some topic that we need to take in his class. Many of my friends suggest different topics. Sir said he will try to present those topic in his session. Then he showed a video which makes all of us to think about ourselves.

Then sir asked which is the most important thing a teacher need? Many answers came, the correct is Smile. Sir differentiated happy smile and sad smile.

😊 Happy Smile represent to collect, the small upward cure while ☹️the sad smile represent to discharge.

Then sir discussed about the recent changes in human. In the earlier time we say Good morning, now we say morning. We cut out the positive word. This is happening in this world. Also sir shared his experience that when he say the same thing in a school, one student said for the future the morning changes to ning.

Before going to next topic, sir said a story of Chinese grandmother. 2 Plots, one had a crack in it. When grandma collect water, through the crack in second plot most of the water went out. Thereby second plot always blame himself. One day plot said his problem to grandma. Then grandma said look at the path you came, any flowers bloomed. Without your knowledge we give birth to beautiful flowers.

Hence sir moved to next topic Group dynamic. There sir asked which communication is more effective. According to me it's non verbal communication.

Sir conducted a game to check which type of communication is effective.

Game: Tea, Dosha, Appam.

Tea, Dosha and Appam has a non verbal action. At this game, all of them need to look the hands of sir and they need to hear what he says.

Ashna won the game. Then asked Ashna to sung a song. Without any frigh she sung well. Sir appreciated her.

Then sir asked each of us to write the problems that can taken between to colleagues. Many answers came.

Then sir asked us to Write our specialities. Many of my friends their specialities.

Problems came when there is misunderstanding takes place between the collapse of verbal and non verbal communication.

For making relaxation in students, we do some yoga.

Then sir discussed about Goal.

To attain a goal

Time bound
Is specific
Measure the ways correctly

We need a smart goal.
SWOT analysis

Then sir showed a video which made us to think that failure leads to success.

The video contained the life story of Albert Einstein, Michael Jordan, Dr. Seuss, Charles Darwin, Ludwig van Beethoven.

Sir ended the class by showing Derek Redmonds video.

Changes makes a person previous life into new life.

At the end of the class, i went to give feedback. I really love the class, which makes me to think many things that happening in my life recent times.

Also many friends given feedbacks to sir class.

In the afternoon session, we had our feedback session and valedictory function. Before that Ancy teacher asked each group to complete their cleaning duty in allotted rooms before the function begins. Our group Keli partially completed our cleaning duty yesterday itself. So most of our members think today they doesn't need to come for the cleaning duty. But some of us came to the auditorium and started last preparation in hall. I started to clean stage, auditorium and varanda. Many of my friends helped me to arrange the chairs in the hall.

After half an hour, teacher came to the auditorium and asked all of us sit in their chairs for beginning feedback session.

After completing by duty, I came to the hall. At that time Gayatri from group 1 shared his experience in camp with us.

Then Reshma and Uthara from group 2 also shared their experience.

After the feedback session, immediately started our valedictory function because of busy schedule of our chief guest Rt. Rev. Msgr. Dr. Mathew Manakarakavil Corepiscopo. The function started at 02:30 pm. Anchors of the function are Fathima and Ashna from natural science.

The function started with the prayer by Devika Chechi from English. Then welcome speech given by Bro. Albin from SS.

After welcome speech, camp report read by Nisarga vice chairperson Aleena from maths.

Then introductory speech given by our principal Dr. K. Y Benedict sir. At the end of sir's speech, sir sung the poem written by himself for our Euphoria feedback magazine.

Presidential speech given by Subinjith J.V, chairman of college union Nisarga.

After the presidential address valedictory address given by Rt. Rev. Msgr. Dr. Mathew Manakarakavil Corepiscopo. Between his speech father appreciate the effort of our principal Benedict sir for writting the poem.
