Ninth day of teaching practice 👩🏫👩🏫👩🏫
Today I reached the college at 8:24 am. When I reached here, no one was present. So I quickly ran to the office and signed the register. After that, I went to morning duty and managed the line until 09:30 am.
In the first hour, I started to prepare for the next class. In the second hour, I went to my allotted class, 8D. I started the class with a silent prayer and to make readiness in students I shared a story: "The two wolves". Then I started to check students' prior knowledge of the concept by giving an activity card. All the groups did it correctly.
Today we moved onto the next session, Regular Polygons. Regular polygons are polygons with equal sides and equal angles. I derived the concept from the known concepts of the equilateral triangle and square. Then we moved onto the pentagon and then explained the method of finding each angle of a pentagon for making the pentagon regular. Through the method of derivation, we concluded the concept of regular polygons with the help of my students. And also I taught them to find all the angles at a vertex D, in which that vertex splits into three angles. With the given fact that the figure ABCDE is a regular pentagon we solved the problem.
At the end of my class, I give a homework problem and give a hint to solve the problem.
In the third and fourth hour I again started for preparing lesson plans. Principal didn't allowed us to write Lps during class time. But we write the lesson plans after making sure that no class need substitution.
In the afternoon I went to meals duty and had food with my friends.
In the afternoon, I didn't get any substitution classes because most of the teachers were present. So at that time, I prepared my lesson plans.
My day ended with evening duty.
