First day of teaching practice 👩‍🏫👩‍🏫

Our 4th semester, second phase teaching practise started today. We arrived at 08:30 am at the school with the help of my friend Sajin, who took his car to come to school. In the morning, we went to the headmaster's room and handed over the attendance register. Sir asked about the assignment of different duties to us. One of the sirs was given all the duties on the day of our visit. Since I didn't get the time table from my assigned teacher, I went to the staffroom and collected it from Raichel Joy's teacher. 

Time table: Monday - 2nd hour

                      Tuesday - 2nd hour

                      Wednesday - 2nd hour

                      Thursday - 2nd hour

                       Friday - 2nd hour

Then we moved into the auditorium, which is the room allotted to us in the teaching practice.

School prayer started at 09:30 am. Some of my friends had classes in the first hour. In the first hour, I went to the cooperative store with my friends to collect textbooks for the 8th standard. 

In the second hour, I had a class for 8D students. So I went to the class before the bell rang. The class was on the 3rd floor. 

I taught them about polygons. That was my first lesson. I used the concept attainment model for teaching the LP. For that, I used models, activity charts, etc. My students were overactive, but they fully cooperated with me. From that point of view, I really like my class. But from the point of view of class management, I think it's a critical task for me. But as a teacher, I will use my best efforts to make my classes successful. In between my classes, Varsha Chechi came and took some of my photos.

After my class, I went to the auditorium and shared my experience with friends. After that, I started to complete my lesson plan. In the afternoon, we had food with friends. 

 

After lunch, we had a meeting with the superior teacher to distribute exam duty. I did my duty with the teacher, Deepu. It's a new experience for me.

At 2:00 pm, an interaction session for plus one and plus two students was conducted by the school. The class was given by Sunil Sir, professor at MG College.
