20th day of teaching practice 👩🏫👩🏫👩🏫
As always, I reached the school at 8:45 am. Me, Akhila, and Aleena were the only training teachers present at the school at that time. After arriving, I went to the office to sign in. Then Sir informed us to meet at room 312 at 09:30 am. On the way back, some students from class 8P1 approached me and asked for help to buy a pen from society. I asked why they had a fear of buying a pen from the store. They said that at the store, boys were present. I was surprised by the reply. I asked why they had a fear. They didn't know about it. I helped the students and said, "Don't fear the boys. They are like your brothers, best friends, etc.
In the first hour, I shared my experience with friends. And then we discussed the importance of mixed schools. Many of us share their experiences with us. Then we remembered about the meeting and went to the room. Sir informed me about the blessing of school and that they needed some teachers for substitution. Some of us were selected for the duty and others were allowed to take a look for class.
Today I have an achievement test in the 8D class. I'm a little afraid about the situation. After some prayer, the school was blessed.
In the second hour, I went to my class for the exam. I distributed the question paper and asked students to write the exam. Some of them were not aware of the exam. So I distributed the papers that I had. Then students started to write their exams. I was given some more time taken from the third hour with teacher permission.
After the exam, I went to the allotted place. Then I found out about an accident that happened in Nalanchira. The victim was a 6th grade boy from St. Mary's HSS. That created a sadness in all of us.
In the fourth hour, we took a rest because we didn't get any substitution class.
In the afternoon, I went to a noon-meal distribution and had food with friends.
In the afternoon, we had a meeting with the Ezhiyath achan and Lal Sir regarding the Onam duty distribution. Then Sajin got the post of coordinator and was asked by Ezhiyath Achan to distribute the duties to the student teachers.
In the afternoon hours, me and Sajin went to collect information about other training colleges in the school, and I started a group to inform them about onam duty distribution. Then he told us about the duties we had. Athapookalam judges, Vanchipattu juges, Thiruvathira juges, and Onapuli judges.
The day ended with evening duty.
